AV Events Sheraton

AV events and staging services by Smooth AV for events across Australia included the Sydney Sheraton recently. Sydney Sheraton is a prestigious venue in the heart of Sydney and Smooth AV were thrilled to be able to add value to the event at the Sheraton with our specialist AV and events staging AV services.

We’ve been busy, check out this quick summary of our recent event at the Sheraton Grand in Sydney, where we helped our client Barrons host a flawless event…

AV Events Sydney Sheraton

For this event Smooth AV provided some productions, like finding a local provider to help with the set (looks pretty good don't you think!) and providing floor plans.

On the day we set up the sound system to give good audio levels to every seat in the house, as well as lapel mics for all the speakers, and the ability to play stings and background music (BGM)

We aslo provided the vision system which included projectors with short throw lenses, which in this venue menas there are no nasty silhouettes on the sccreen as people take their seats. We had presentation computers, video computers, a vision switcher to make everything seamless on screen and of course the big timer to keep the speakers running to schedule.

Our client had also requested "lighting for camera" which means lots of light on the stage from a few different angles so the camera shots look their best.

We provided the camera system, which consisted of 2 remote control cameras and an operator to manage and record them.

This was also a fairly cue heavy show, so we also provided a wirless comms system so the tech team could all communicate and stay on the same page during proceedings.

The event was a great sucess and the client was very happy with how everything went and we can't wait to do it from them again next year.
