AV Events Sydney Sheraton
For this event Smooth AV provided some production services, like finding a local provider to help with the set (looked pretty good don’t you think!) and providing floor plans.
On the day we set up the sound system to give good audio levels to every seat in the house, as well as lapel mics for all the speakers and the ability to play stings and background music (BGM).
We also provided the vision system which included projectors with short throw lenses, which in this venue means there are no nasty silhouettes on the screen as people take their seats. We had presentation computers, video computers, a vision switcher to make everything seamless on screen, and of course a big timer to keep the speakers running to schedule.
Our client had also requested “lighting for camera” which means lots of light on the stage from a few different angles so the camera shots look their best.
We provided the camera system, which consisted of 2 remote control cameras and an operator to manage and record them.
This was also a fairly cue heavy show, so we also provided a wireless comms system so the tech team could all communicate and stay on the same page during proceedings.
The event was a great success and the client was very happy with how everything went, and we can’t wait to do it for them again next year.
